Set up devices one at a time when your router can’t be changed
If your internet provider’s router won’t let you change its DNS setting, setup now offers “I can’t change my router” and takes you straight to adding devices. Each phone, tablet or computer you name gets its own profile, and there is no IP address to register. It covers only the devices you set up.
Bedtime for a single device
Set recurring nightly windows when one device can’t get online, with an Allow tonight button for exceptions. It follows your account’s time zone and works for devices set up with their own profile.
Pause one device’s internet
Pause a single device right now, for a time you choose (up to 7 days), or until you resume it. It works for devices set up with their own profile.
Needs a look: review sensitive sites your way
Sites in sensitive categories are now set apart in Activity for your review. For each one you can block it, allow it, or dismiss it, and your decision is saved for your household, including for anyone you’ve added as an admin of your home.
Activity by purpose
Activity can now be browsed by what each site or app is for, such as games, school & learning, social & messaging, video & music, or ads & trackers. It is a way to read the log and never blocks anything on its own; sites we can’t place stay under Other.
Name your devices
Add each phone, tablet or computer as a named device with its own profile (Apple devices install from a link or QR code). Its lookups then appear under its name in Activity, at home or away, even if your router’s DNS can’t be changed, and you can filter Activity by device.
Expanded protection against AI "nudify" and deepfake tools
We grew our list of blocked AI photo-manipulation tools — the apps and sites that let someone upload a photo and generate a fake nude or explicit image of a real person. This protection category now covers more verified domains than before, after a fresh round of manual review.
A refreshed homepage, with clearer next steps
We updated the homepage to make it easier to get started, with clearer calls to action and a short note from our founder on why MizpahGuard exists.
YouTube Restricted Mode and Safe Search
Two new per-network toggles are available on the Content Categories tab: YouTube Restricted Mode (Off / Moderate / Strict) filters out mature videos and comments, and Safe Search enforcement applies to Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, and Ecosia.
